Submission for the 2012-13 State Budget
YWCA of Adelaide outlines a number of early intervention and primary prevention programs and strategies in this Budget Submission which would deliver a significant return-on-investment for the State by delivering positive outcomes for young women in South Australia. Our submission focuses on three key areas:

Submission for the 2010 Review of South Australia’s Strategic Plan
In September 2010 YWCA of Adelaide addresses the gender pay gap, sexualisation of girls, and women’s safety in its Strategic Plan Review submission. You can see our recommended SASP Targets here.
Submission in to Same Sex Parenting Inquiry
In July 2010 YWCA of Adelaide made this submission in to the Social Development Committee Inquiry in to Same Sex Parenting.
Submission to the Women Theatre Directors Action Planning Forum
In May 2010 an Action Planning Forum was held in Sydney to help address the lack of women theatre directors. YWCA of Adelaide sent this submission in support of the Forum.

Submission to the Productivity Commission Inquiry into Paid Maternity, Paternity and Parental Leave
On 28 May 2008 YWCA Australia Executive Director Caroline Lambert and YWCA of Adelaide Policy Officer Chelsea Lewis presented at the Productivity Commission’s Adelaide hearing into Paid Maternity, Paternity and Parental Leave calling for 39 weeks paid parental leave.

Too Big to Ignore: Future Issues for Australian Women's Housing 2006-2025
On Monday October 22 2007 the Honorable Jay Weatherill, Minister for Housing, formally launched Too Big to Ignore.
The report, funded in partnership with SA Department for Families and Communities, HomeStart Finance, the YWCA of Adelaide and Shelter SA with the SA Women's Housing Caucus paints the picture of women’s housing issues into the future. Balancing Work and Life Responsibilities
In 2007 the Select Committee of the House of Assembly of the South Australia Parliament held an Inquiry into how South Australians can achieve a work-life balance. On Monday June 25, 2007, a submission from the YWCA of Adelaide was tabled at the Committee meeting.
Domestic Violence Law Reform
In March 2007, the State Government released the Domestic Violence Laws Discussion and Options for Reform Paper.
The YWCA of Adelaide was invited to comment on the Paper, and chose a selection of the 125 questions to answer.
