Join a group that wants a better future for young women

When you leave a bequest to the YWCA of Adelaide you become part of the Y Foundation for the Future, a group set up to recognise and thank you for your generous support to such a great cause, young women.  Members of the group are people who have shown their commitment and support to young women in South Australia.

The Y Foundation for the Future holds special events which bring together lifetime supporters of the YWCA of Adelaide.  The group also receive our quarterly newsletters so they can keep informed about YWCA of Adelaide activities in the community.

Words make a difference

In leaving a bequest it is important that all details are correct.  Our recommended wording is,

'I bequest to the Young Women's Christian Association of Adelaide of 17 Hutt Street Adelaide in the State of South Australia absolutely for its general purposes[(the whole) or (a specific amount or gift) or (a percentage) or (the residue)] of my estate free of all duties, and I declare that the receipt of its treasurer or other austhorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my Trustee or Executor.'
