It is also a great time to tell your friends about the Y and invite them to join too. To find out about meeting with an MP at Parliament House, an Advocacy Workshop with the Equal Opportunity Commission, and the chance for an intimate chat with a woman from 891 ABC Adelaide radio – click here for all the details.

Board Training

Have you considered board membership as part of your career development? Board membership is a way to develop skills in leadership, governance and strategic planning while contributing to your community and society. As part of the SHE Leads program, the YWCA of Adelaide has developed an introductory session in board training.  At the 3 hour session, you will have an opportunity to learn about the roles and responsibilities of board membership and how to increase your opportunities to join a board. Check for Board Training sessions coming up here.
