| The YWCA provides programs and services to young people, aged
12- 25 years, living, attending school or socialising in the northern
region of Adelaide, especially those in the north-eastern area (City
of Tea Tree Gully).
Our programs and services include
Providing information and referral to young people and organisations
Running projects and programs in collaboration with schools
and other youth organisations
Engaging, supporting and training young volunteers
Providing one-to-one support through case work
Running individual workshops or sessions with young people about
o Self image
o Choices or goal setting
o Team building or group work

The DONUT Sessions
The DONUT Sessions is a time limited case work model designed to
explore important areas of a young person’s life, one-to-one. All
of these areas directly relate to being able to handle life, school
and relationships effectively.
This model is currently being piloted in schools and youth organizations.
The STREET Team
An exciting project for 2008 aiming to work with young people aged
between 12 – 18 who are interested in organising and hosting an
event in the north and north eastern regions of Adelaide.
The benefits of becoming involved:

- Increasing your confidence and skills
- Being able to put this experience on your CV or Resume
We are currently recruiting young people to get involved as volunteers.
