Programs and workshops include but are not limited to the following issues; mental health and well-being, body image, cyber safety, bullying and harassment, positive relationships, gender roles, and stereotypes.

If you would like more information about our programs or would like the Northern Services team to run a program in your school please contact Ellie Simmons on 8203 9439 or at ellie.simmons@ywca.com.au.

Case management

Case management within the YWCA Northern Services focuses on a holistic approach to empowering young people through one on one support. A case plan is created by identifying the young person’s needs and with their cooperation and consent to implement strategies to enable them to achieve goals and assist with personal development. The amount and length of appointments catered to each individual and is evaluated at the initial time of referral and throughout the support. Issues that case management may address include:  social relationships and networks, physical and mental health, alcohol and substance abuse, disengagement to education, and/or sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.

The Northern Services programs and services are supported by the Department of Families and Communities, Community Benefit SA, Office for Youth and donations from community sectors.
