Go Girls in the South

The YWCA of Adelaide will commence a new program in the southern suburbs called Go Girls in July 2009. Go Girls is based on a Canadian group mentoring model where girls around 12 years of age work with young women mentors over an eight week period to explore self image and gender stereotypes.

We will work with six girls in the Christies Beach area and six young women from the University of South Australia as mentors.
